Handheld ECG Recorder is a single lead electrocardiograph monitor
for recording, displaying and transmitting ECG data for home
health care and telemetry applications.
Intended Use:
This device
is intended for adult usage for self-testing, monitoring their
ECG characteristics or of anyone who experiences transient
symptoms due to cardiac conduction abnormalities or just for
a routine ECG checks. ECG acquisition and transmission can
be activated by the users for the purpose of healthcare management
as prescribed by any healthcare professionals.
This device
is NOT intended to be used as a most precise diagnostic tool.
Users with implanted pacemaker are NOT recommended to use
this device.
How to Use:
Normally,
the user is not required to apply electrode on the body. The
user has to just press the two thumps directly on the electrodes
integrated on the device in order to record the ECG Signal.
The user shall use the electrodes to record the signal using
the auxiliary external electrodes provided separately, if
the user wants to cross check thump based measurements
The recorded ECG data can be downloaded to a personal computer
through USB interface for off-line monitoring, printing and
e-mailing.
Measured Parameters:
The device measures, records and presents
the following parameters:-
- Heart
Rate (HR)
- ST
Segment
- this segment can help with the identification of certain
cardiac problems (i.e. myocardial infarction, ischemia)
- QRS
Interval
- this segment corresponds with the currents that cause the
contractions of both the ventricles
The
devices are presented in a convenient carry case, with application
software CD-ROM, USB cable and an easy to read and understand
user manual.
The
device has been certified for CE marking and is categorised
as Medical Device Class 2a.
